A petroleum products distributor Rottco an-nounced that it is planning to establish a system of affiliation to independent petrol stations. At the same time Rottco has entered the Romanian fuel distribution market.
The company is a part of Synergy, a project con-trolled by Paul Pop, former Director within Rompetrol and Lukoil in Romania.
In its first phase, the company is targeting the affiliation of 50 independent petrol stations owned by small private companies. Currently, there are about 600 independent petrol stations in Roma-nia.
The press release from the company said that the new petrol stations network of independent entre-preneurs will sell fuel of the same quality as the large distribution networks, while the network members will an option to choose suppliers of products respecting tax and specific quality condi-tions.
Rottco will finance the standardization, integra-tion and informational interoperation of petrol stations and will coordinate marketing and adver-tising programs at the network level, with the aim to increase the competitiveness of the petrol sta-tion in the network, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
