The estimated value of the projects for small hydro power plants on the rivers Crnja, Bjelojevićka and Bistrica, for which permits were issued in the past 14 months, or issuance is under way, is almost 48 million. Danijel Gvozdenovic, Deputy Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism explained the current status of small hpp projects .
Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism issued around a hundred construction permits the most important investment projects in Montenegro at this point – small hydro power plants and hotel and tourism facilities. The interest continues, they say in the the Ministry, this year too. As Danilo Gvozdenovic, Deputy Minister for Construction said for the Portal Analitika, according to documents that have so far been provided, the total estimated value of work for which the permits were granted amounts to even – 197,424,777 Euros.
– Ministry issued three construction permits last year to the investor “Dekar” from Podgorica to build small hydro power plants on the river Crnja: HPP “Crnja”, HPP “Ljubaštica” and HPP “Crni potok”, in the Municipality of Kolasin. Estimated value of the investment is less than eight million. At the beginning of this year, the Ministry has issued two more construction permits to investors “Haider Extrem Energy” from Podgorica, on Bjelojevićka river in Mojkovac municipality – small hydro power plant “Ugljari” and small hydro power plant “Bjelojevici”. Their estimated value is 15,402,397 Euros.
Gvozdenovic says they are currently considering another application for a small hydro power plant on Bistrica – “Bistrica – A” and “Bistrica – B” in Bijelo Polje, and the investor is “Haider Extrem Energy” this time too. According to the project documentation, it’s an investment worth 24.5 million Euros.
