Biggest work on units A5 and B1, major overhaul of two units will be biggest projects in Balkans biggest electricity production facility
Corporate Enterprise Thermal Power Plants Nikola Tesla started the overhaul and modernization season on 26th february with standard overhaul of unit TENT A6 which is now back on network since 26th march, says Ljubisa Mihailovic TENT Production director and added: We plan to have extended overhaul on units A1 and A2, projects duration of 50 days due to some unsolicited works on ESPs and on A2 we had replacement of pipe system on condenser.
For unit A3 we planed only standard overhaul of 30 days, for this unit we are expecting this year to continue financing for some works on generators and turbines repairs which will be completed within the 2014 planed major overhaul project. As first three units of TENT A power plant have the same joint chimney and because of the works in this area of the power plant we will have overlapping with overhauls of units 1-2-3 in period of 7 days. For unit A3 we planed standard overhaul of 21days, planed at the end of the overhaul season between 24th October and 13th November.
