Albania’s Agency for Natural Resources offered at auction seven offshore and onshore units for hydrocarbons exploration.
This contest comes after more uncertain but potentially significant hydrocarbon discovery in southern Albania. Bids will allow oilman the initial researches over five years, and this period may be extended to seven years, while the contract for exploitation will be subscribed to 25 years or longer.
Not only Croatia and Montenegro are in problems with the border, part of unit 5 on the Ionian Sea in Albania overlaps with Greek research unit, Oedigital reports.
