Albanian state-owned electricity transmission system operator OST said that it has recorded a net profit in the amount of 4.2 million euros in the first half of 2018, compared to 6.1 million euros net profit recorded in the same period last year.
The company’s operating profit dropped to 6.24 million euros in the first six months of 2018 from last year’s 7.9 million euros. However, revenues from its core activity – electricity transmission increased to 23.5 million euros in the first half of the year from 18.6 million euros in the same period in 2017.
At the end of June 2018, total assets owned by OST increased to over 540 million euros, compared to some 500 million euros a year earlier.
