Electric power of Serbia(EPS) increased the value of its assets capital during last four years for more than four billion euros to currently 12 billion euros, primarily due to the investments and modernization of its facilities. Annual investment amounts are reaching 500 mil euro.
The profit of EPS in last yer was around 270 mil euro. This money will not be transferred to government budget but it will be spent for investments, stated Dragomir Markovic EPS GM to daily Politika news.
According to Markovic, ongoing planed EPS investments for 2012 are in value of 350 mil euro. New investment cycle will also be initiated for construction of power generation plants, projects in joint venture with strategic partners. The first new EPS facility will most likely be a CHP plant Novi Sad which could be completed by end of 2014, stated Markovic.
