1.380 investors applied for construction of small HPPs on 317 locations in Serbia- Minister of Energy Zorana Mihajlovic stated. Applications can be delivered one more week- Minister says.
Minister of Energy, Environmental Development and Protection, Zorana Mihajlovic, stated that 1.380 interested investors had applied for construction of small HPPs in 317 locations in Serbia.
Mihajlovic said that applications can be delivered one more week, the longest, and then the Commission for Energy Ministry will decide about them and potential rang list is expected in the mid-May.
Mihajlovic said that first HPPs are planned to be constructed in 2015 and 2016.
Vlasina region is full of locations of constructions of small HPPs and 40 interested investors from Vlasotince answered the public call and 138 of them from Surdulica- Mihajlovic said.
Mihajlovic says that public call must exist for small HPPs in order to enable clear permissions issuance and to get good quality investors for this job in Serbia that will contribute the opening of new work places.
