The Government of the Herzeg-Bosnia Canton has awarded two concession for the construction of wind farms with combined installed capacity of 264 MW to local company Vjetroelektrane Dah Planine, a subsidiary of German renewables developer wpd.
The two concessions are related to 138 MW wind farm Cadilj in Glamoc municipality and 126 MW wind farm Marino Brdo in Bosansko Grahovo municipality.
The one off concession fee for the first wind farm is around 31,000 euros and for the second one – around 28,000 euros. The concessionaire will also pay the annual amount of 1.75 % of electricity production for both wind farms. The concessions are valid for a period of 30 years.
