President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said that it will provide grants to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the amount of 70 million euros in order to help the country deal with the ongoing energy crisis.
Von der Leyen said that the funds would be targeted to help vulnerable consumers during the crisis, as well as to help the country’s economy. She added that the EC is also preparing financing in the amount of 500 million euros for the Western Balkan, aimed at supporting investments in energy infrastructure.
