Bosnian state-owned power utility EPBiH said that it expects to record a pre-tax profit of 6.7 million euros in 2021, which is a slight increase compared to projection from May of 6.35 million euros.
The statement from the company said that it expects that its pre-tax profit in 2022 would reach 13.8 million euros and 15.8 million euros in 2023. EPBiH recorded a net profit in the amount of 5.4 million euros in 2020.
The company’s operating revenues should reach 563 million euros in 2021, up from 510 million in 2020, while operating costs are expected to rise to 447 million euros from 426.2 million euros in 2020.
EPBiH also plans to borrow almost 840 million euros from foreign and local financial institutions to cover planned investments in the 2021-2023 period.
