Bosnian state-owned power utility EPBiH has launched an invitation to interested parties for the lease or sale of land for the purpose of the construction of solar power plants.
The invitation is launched as part of EPBiH’s efforts to increase electricity generation from renewable energy sources. The land will be leased for a minimum of 25 years, with plots for lease/sale of a minimum of 50,000 square meters.
The invitation for the expression of interest is open until 31 December 2022.
In an effort to increase its RES portfolio, the company also plans to build solar power plants on the ash deposits of its coalmines Kreka, Breza and Kakanj, and its coal-fired TPP Tuzla by 2030.
