Bosnia and Herzegovina, EPBiH seeking to buy or lease land for solar power plants
, SEE Energy NewsBosnian state-owned power utility EPBiH launched a public call for local governments, companies and individuals for expression of interest for the sale or lease of land which will be used for the construction of solar power plants.
Among the conditions that must be met by the offered land is that the land is intended for construction purpose or can be converted for construction purpose, that it covers the area of at least 25,000 square meters and that it is available for lease for at least 30 years.
The public call is open until 31 December 2023.
EPBiH published the similar call last year, which received 18 expressions of interest: four from companies and 14 from individuals. As a result of that public call, EPBiH signed a contract for the construction of 8.8 MW solar power plant with Banovici municipality.
