Bosnia and Herzegovina, FBiH said that it is prepared to invest in the acquisition of shares of “Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici”, SEE Energy News
Bosnian power utility EPBiH, which operates within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) said that it is prepared to invest in the acquisition of shares of “Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici”, a subsidiary of power utility ERS, which operates within the other BiH’s entity – the Republic of Srpska (RS).
The statement from the company said that the potential investment will be also in line with EPBiH’s strategy to increase its share of renewable energy sources and will help BiH meet its obligations as a signatory of the Energy Community Treaty.
Earlier this week, HET said that plans to recapitalize by issuing shares worth as much as 223 million euros, which is some 25 million euros
more than the current total value of the company’s share capital.
