Hydro power plant “Hidroelektrane na Vrbasu” (HEV) is a subsidiary of Bosnian power utility ERS, that operates two hydropower plants Bocac 1 and Bocac 2. HEV recorded a net profit of around 250,000 euros in the first three months of 2020, which is significantly lower compared to almost 1 million euros profit recorded in the same period last year. The company’s operating revenues decreased in the January-March period by 29.6 % reaching 2.13 million euros, while operating expenses fell by 9.5 % to 1.85 million euros. Construction of HPP Bocac 2 started in September 2015 and it was commissioned in late 2018. It has installed capacity of 8.76 MW and expected annual generation of 46 GWh of electricity. It is built within HPP Bocac 1 complex, which has 110 MW power output, annual production of 307.5 GWh of electricity and was commissioned in 1981.
