A subsidiary of the power utility ERS, Hidroelektrane na Drini, which operates the Višegrad hydropower plant, reported that the facility generated 110.36 GWh of electricity in April 2026. This represents an increase of 16.5% compared to March, when production totaled 94.72 GWh. In April of the previous year, output stood slightly higher at 113.76 GWh.
The HPP Višegrad plant produced a total of 781.8 GWh in 2025, compared to 733 GWh in 2024. In the current year, cumulative generation so far in 2026 has reached 510.76 GWh.
Commissioned in 1989, HPP Višegrad has an installed capacity of 315 MW (3 × 105 MW) and an average annual generation of approximately 1,010 GWh of electricity. Its record annual output was achieved in 2010, reaching 1,283.05 GWh.
