The Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska has invited bids for a concession to develop and operate the Trusina wind farm near Nevesinje.
The project is planned with a capacity of up to 50 MW and is expected to generate around 160 GWh of electricity annually. Total investment is estimated at €66.5 million. The concession initiative was submitted by local company SDL Energy.
The successful bidder will be responsible for securing grid connection in accordance with the technical conditions set by the system operator, while all electricity generated by the wind farm will be sold on the market. The concession may be granted for a period of up to 50 years from the date of signing the concession agreement.
Financial obligations include a one-off concession fee of approximately €330,000, as well as an ongoing payment of €0.0027 for each kilowatt-hour of electricity generated.
Applicants must demonstrate their legal, technical and financial capacity, as well as confirm that they are not subject to bankruptcy or criminal proceedings. Bidders must also submit a feasibility study demonstrating the economic viability of the proposed wind farm.
