The Ministry of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska has launched a concession process for construction and operation of the Trusina wind farm near Nevesinje, a project with planned capacity of up to 50 MW.
Expected annual production is around 160 GWh, while total investment is estimated at €66.5mn. The initiative for the concession was submitted by local developer SDL Energy Company.
The successful bidder will be responsible for securing grid connection under technical requirements established by the system operator. Electricity produced by the facility would be sold into the market.
The concession could run for as long as 50 years from signing. Financial conditions include a one-off concession charge of approximately €330,000 and an ongoing fee of €0.0027/kWh of electricity generated.
At the stated production level of 160 GWh a year, the variable concession payment would amount to roughly €432,000 annually at expected output.
Prospective bidders must demonstrate legal, technical and financial capacity and submit a feasibility study supporting the project’s economic viability.
