A revised natural gas pricing framework has been introduced in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), following a decision adopted by the Federal Government. The new wholesale price for distribution companies will apply from 1 April and has been set at around 441 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, excluding VAT.
The adjustment was initiated after a request submitted by importer Energoinvest, which proposed a moderate increase in supply prices. The approved level reflects a 4.59% rise compared to the previous rate, which stood at approximately 422 euros per 1,000 cubic meters.
Authorities explained that the price revision follows movements in international markets, particularly changes communicated by Gazprom Export, whose updated pricing coefficient for the upcoming quarter also increased by 4.59%.
Despite volatility across European energy markets during the first quarter of 2026, end-user prices remained unchanged. Officials emphasized that the latest increase represents a limited correction and still keeps gas prices below comparable levels seen across Europe.
