Public opening of submitted companies’ bid ceremony was attended by representatives of companies for potential partners, consultants, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Munever Cergic, the Managing Director said that it would try to decide on the partners’ choice as early as possible, also by the fact that the procedure required that the ranking list must be approved by the Government and the Parliament of FBiH, and only after that the final decision rested with the Assembly. He believes that a contract with a strategic partner will be sign by the end of the year.
Within 60 days the final offers were submitted by three Chinese companies – Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited, China Gezhouba Group Company Limited and Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited. After the procedure of offers opening it was found out that all three companies have submitted technical and financial proposals in accordance with the tender documents and the prices ranged around 495 MEUR, excluding VAT.
The most favorable is the offer of the Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited which amounts to 495,000,006 EUR, and the prices of other offers range from a few thousand EUR.
The Expert Commission for the partners selection will thoroughly analyze the submitted technical and financial offers in the future, based on which it will submit a final proposal on the selection of the best bidder.
We remind that the project provides the unit power of 350 MW, with the location between one two pit mine in Banovici, and it is strategic goal for RMU “Banovici” and the entire energy sector in BiH, it was said in RMU “Banovici”.
