The procedure of opening the final bids of companies that are shortlisted for the project realization of the Block 7-450 MW in TPP “Tuzla” is performed in the Public Enterprise Electric Utility of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is announced by the company.
The qualified companies are Mitsubishi Hitachy Power Systems Ltd from Japan and the consortium China Gezhouba Group Co.Ltd.-Leader of Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute.
“While the bid opening procedure was performing, it was determined that the the only valid bid was submitted by the company China Gezhouba Group Co. Ltd. -Leader of Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute”, it is said from the EPBIH.
Instead of bid, the company Hitachy Mitsubishi Power Systems Ltd. Japan submitted a declaration stating that “because of the political situation in Bosnia,” it was not in a position to provide its own participation in the financing, so, accordingly, it was not able to submit the final bid.
After the analysis of the Expert team, the offer for the building of the Block 7-450 MW in TPP “Tuzla” which has submitted Chinese consortium Gezhouba Group Co. Ltd.-Leader of Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute will be forwarded for further assessment and procedure towards the Management Board, Supervisory Board and Assembly of EPBIH ltd. – Sarajevo.
