In the first quarter of 2015 the electric power companies in BiH exported electricity worth 53, 7 MEUR, which is an increase of 4.2% compared to the same period last year when the export amounted 51 MEUR, the BiH Agency for Statistics.
The minimum export of 17 MEUR was realized in March, in February amounted to 18 MEUR, while the highest was recorded in January of 19 MEUR.
At the same time, Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first three months of this year imported electricity in the value of 10, 8 MEUR, which is an increase of 2.3% compared to the same period last year, when imports amounted to 10, 6 MEUR.
BiH Agency for Statistics announced that the average electricity price with all taxes included for households in the second half of 2014th amounted to 8 cents/ kWh, which is 1.6% more than in the first half of 2014th.
The average price of electricity without value added tax for the industry in the second half of 2014th amounted to 6, 2 cents/ kWh, which is 4.7% less than in the first half of the year.
