Bosnia: Energy company EPBiH marks 500MEUR in 2013, SEE Energy News
Total income of BiH Electric Power Industry amounted to 500 MEUR in 2013th, greater by 5, 25 MEUR or 1.1 percent than it was planned. Compared to 2012th, revenues increased by 41, 8 MEUR or 8.8 percent.
FBiH Government has adopted today report on operations of companies in the energy sector in 2013th at the meeting in Sarajevo, in which the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry realizes management rights on the basis of the state capital.
According to the adopted report, BiH Electric Power Industry produced 7,473 GWh of electricity last year, which is 187.1 GWh, or 2.6 percent more than it was planned and 964.1 GWh or 14.8 percent of production in 2012th.
Total electricity consumption in the period January – December 2013th was 4979.6 GWh, which is 178.3 GWh, or 3.5 percent less than it was planned, but for 79.2 GWh, or 1.6 percent more than in the same period in 2012th.
Total revenues in 2013th amounted to 500 MEUR, greater by 5, 25 MEUR or 1.1 percent than it was planned. Compared to 2012th, revenues increased by 41, 8 MEUR or 8.8 percent, and for the first time since the war exceeded half a million EUR.
In hydropower plants managed by EPHZHB in 2013th, it was produced a total of 2348.28 GWh of electricity, which is at the rebalanced level of production. In comparison with the output for the same period in 2012th, production in 2013th was much higher – by 1118.9 GWh or 91 percent due to favorable hydrological situation.
Total gross electricity consumption in 2013th was 2607.21 GWh, which is by 9.9 percent lower than the revised plan.
Total revenue for 2013th amounted to 418 989 353 KM, which is nine percent more than the achievement of the same period last year.
Total expenditure in this period amounted to186 MEUR, which is compared to the achievement of the same period last year decreased by 15.1 percent, resulting in a reduction in the cost of purchased power during the accounting period by 44.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
In 2013th, the total comprehensive income was in the amount of 34, 9 MEUR (profit of 28 MEUR for 2013th and profit from the revaluation reserve of 6, 8 MEUR).
