In 2014, “Holdina” was the largest importer of petroleum products in the Federation of BiH, according to the Federal Ministry of Trade. Last year, “Holdina” imported 496,329 tons of petroleum products, which represents a market share of 71.60%.
After “Holdina” the second largest importer is “Petrol BH Oil Company” which imported 113,288 tons, achieving a market share of 16.34%.
Among largest importers in the third place is “G-Petrol” (“Gazprom”) from Sarajevo with imported 54,444 tons and a market share of 7.85%, while the “HIFA Oil” from Tešnje is fourth with imported 15,999 tons and a market share of 2.31%.
In 2014, in the Federation BiH was imported a total of 693,164 tons of oil products, which is around 7.62% more than in the same period last year when it imported 644,060 tonnes.
Most petroleum products were imported from Croatia 473,543 t (68.32%), followed by Italy 86,841 t (12, 53%), Serbia 58,676 t (8.46%) and so on.
Simultaneously, from “Brod Oil Refinery” or other supplier from RS were purchased 256,090 tons, which is around 1.55% less than in the same period last year when it was purchased 260,123 tons.
Most petroleum products were procured from “Optima group” from Banja Luka , around 94.36% (241,637t) while the rest of quantities were procured from companies “Super Petrol” Banja Luka, “Reunion” Banja Luka, “Igmin MM” and directly Refinery Brod, according to Biznis.ba portal.
