According to the Federal Ministry of Trade, during 2016 the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) imported 911,565 tons of oil products, which is 13.62 % more than in 2015.
FBiH has imported most of its oil products from Croatia (522,309 tons), followed by Italy (225,846 tons), Serbia (94,334 tons), Hungary (10,985 tons), Slovenia (9,902 tons) and Austria (1,078 tons), while other countries were represented with 47,111 tons in total.
The largest suppliers of oil products in FBiH are Holdina, a subsidiary of Croatian oil company INA, with 514,350 tons, followed by Slovenian Petrol, GPetrol and Hifa. Oil refinery in Bosanski Brod and other suppliers from the Republic of Srpska supplied a total of 221,002 ton of oil products last year, which is 22.6 % less than in 2015.
