German development bank will provide a loan of 65MEUR for power utility EPBiH wind park Podvelezje, construction is planed for 4Q 2016.
The Government of FBiH gave its consent to Elektroprivreda BiH to build a wind farm Podveležje in the Mostar area, which means that first the road and the substation would have to be built and then the wind turbines too.
-The beginning of construction activities in the project area of the wind farm Podveležje is planned for the fourth quarter of 2016. The funding was obtained from the loans of the German Development Bank KfW for 90 percent of the investment and 10 percent is coming from ourr own means – the Communication Service of Elektroprivreda BiH confirmed.
The German Development Bank approved the loan to Elektroprivreda BiH to finance the construction of the wind farm Podveležje in the amount of 65 million euro. Along with the loan from KfW the construction will be financed with 6.8 million euro from the capital of Elektroprivreda BiH.
They say that first Kilowatt hours from the wind farm Podveležje with the integrated capacity of 48 MW and planned yearly electricity production of 120 GW hours are expected in the last quarter of 2018.
The estimated value of this wind farm with 16 wind aggregates is 71.5 million euro, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
