Power utility company of one of the Bosnian entity within federation “Elektroprivreda Hrvatske zajednice HB” is noticed not to have any object in Hercegbosanska Zupanija, despite the conditions like huge energy potential (coal, water, wind) – it is stated on HBZ website.
Government is said to have will to construct energy objects so it expects support from “EPHZHB” considering that they have considered their priorities which are construction of TPP object on the territory of Hercegbosanska Zupanija (Celebic and Kongora), then “Mesihovina”, “Borova Glava”, HPPs “Vrilo”, “Kablici” and “Mokronoge”.
Presentation of possibility to construct one TPP (Celebic, Kongora) will be prepared soon- it is announced to “EPHZHB”. They asked representative of Hercegbosanska Zupanija’s government to remove difficulties during land conversion in order to launch construction of “Mesihovina” because construction license had been previously issued and financial assets provided.
Feasibility Study for “Borova Glava” is also asked to be done, as well as finishing the research this year, defining the possibility for construction of HPP “Kablici” and continuation of activities related to reversible HPP “Vrilo” construction.
Meeting’s chairmen are agreed that spatial plan of county should be done urgently because its nonexistence is the main obstacle to energy sector development. The need of Ramsar zone redefinition adopted by UNDP on nontransparent way is underlined because it represents a really big problem for investments.
