The Government of the Republic of Srpska (RS) has adopted the information on the sale of surplus electricity in 2017, according to which the total quantity of sold electricity was 735,949 MWh. The electricity was sold at the average price of 41.4 euros/MWh, which generated revenues in the amount of some 30 million euros.
The amount of electricity sold through weekly, monthly and yearly auction was 125,760 MWh, which was sold at an average price of 42.7 euros/ MWh and generated revenues of 5.4 million euros.
On the basis of agreements on cooperation with neighboring power utilities, power utility ERS supplied a total of 123,624 MWh of electricity at an average price of 39.3 euros/MWh, which generated revenues of 4.35 million euros.
The amount of electricity sold on the daily basis in 2017 was 202,787 MWh, which was sold at an average price of 40.8 euros/MWh and generated revenues of 8.3 million euros.
