Siemens Croatia and Bosnian power utility EP HZHB have signed a contract for the delivery of 22 wind turbines for Mesihovina wind farm project. The value of the contract is almost 72 million euros.
According to Siemens Croatia, the contract comes into force on 30 April this year and the installation of turbines should start in spring 2017, while the entire project should be completed by the beginning of 2018.

CEO of Siemens Croatia Mladen Fogec said that he is proud that Croatian company, as proven partner with international experience in the ex-ploitation of renewable energy sources, can offer its knowledge and expertise to Bosnia and Herze-govina. For BiH this is an important step forward in the direction of developing capacities which will meet the need for quality, efficient and environ-mentally friendly energy supply, Fogec concluded.
It should be the first wind farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located near the town of Tomislavgrad. The foundation stone for the wind farm Mesihovina was laid down in September 2010. The project is funded by 72 million euros loan provided by German KfW Bank (loan agreement signed in February 2010) and by 6 million euros provided by HP HZHB itself, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
