Bosnia: TSO Grid network company Elektroprenos starts 17.5MEUR investment cycle in capacity increase
, SEE Energy News“Elektroprenos BiH” started the tenders’ announcement for the first cycle of the construction of transmission lines, substations, other facilities and equipment worth17, 5 MEUR, and it is planned soon to start another cycle approximately worth.
The director of “Elektroprenos” Matan Zaric says that this company is the only one in the region that invests so much in energy equipment. He pointed out that the tenders have been already announced, and that next week will be announced a few more.
– In the first round we have a total of 17 tenders – said Zaric.
He added that firstly were published tenders for four transmission lines, construction of several new substations and the computer system valued at 3 MEUR. He explained that the value of one substation amounts from 1 to 1, 75 MEUR, how much also costs one transmission line.
– Next week should be announced tender for three or four substations and the investment cycle of 17, 5 MEUR will be rounded by that – said Zaric.
He added that the company management should have made a plan on Monday for a new cycle of investments whose value was also about 17, 5 MEUR.
– There are requirements for investments that have arrived from the four operational areas, which after elaboration, according to the possibilities, will be adopted and sent to the further procedure – Zaric said, adding that the period of the investment cycle completion depends on the public procurement process and bidders’ complaints.
