Bulgaria: A slightly higher profit for TPP Bobov Dol, SEE Energy News
Bulgarian thermal power plant Bobov Dol recorded a net profit in the amount of of 1.3 million euros in 2020, compared to a profit of 1.24 million euros in the previous year. The company’s total revenues rose to 82.5million euros in 2020, compared to 73.3 million euros recorded in 2019. Total expenditures also increased to 81.1 million euros in the same period, from 71.8 million euros a year before. TPP Bobov Dol is 630 MW coal-fired power plant commissioned in 2000, located in southwestern Bulgaria. It was privatized in 2008 and local consortium Energy MK is the plant’s sole owner.
