Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said that energy subsidies for businesses, aimed to mitigate the effects of an ongoing energy crisis, will continue in May.
PM Petkov said that the Government is working very hard so that Bulgaria can have stable gas supply at prices that are not different from those that would come through the alternative Gazprom. Various options have been discussed and the country is prepared to offer predictability for Bulgarian business and its workers.
He expressed hope that Bulgaria would not be badly surprised by the upcoming gas price levels, and once again assured that the gas supply to consumers has not stopped or decreased, since Gazprom halted natural gas supply to the country in late April.
