On the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in June 2021, a total of 1,980,790.7 MWh of electricity was traded which is 5.6 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in June amounted to 66,026.4 MWh. Traded volume in June 2021 was 87.5 % higher compared to the same month last year. The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in June amounted to 77.18 euros/MWh, which is 28.6 % higher compared to May (60.03euros/MWh), while average peak price was 79.5 euros/MWh (+ 33.2 %). There were a total of 86 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market, one more compared to the previous month. Regarding intraday market, a total of 102,403.2 MWh (- 25.4 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 75.92 euros/MWh (+ 31.7 %).
