According to Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, the production of electricity in July 2016 increased by 6.4 % compared to June, to 3,648 GWh, while deliveries of electricity also increased by 8.2 % on monthly basis and amounted to 2,585 GWh. Production of natural gas in July 2016 remained approximately at the same level as in the previous month and amounted to 6 million cubic meters, while its deliveries decreased by 18.5 % and amounted to 163 million cubic meters.
Compared to July 2015, the production of electricity has decreased by 13.8 %, while its deliveries decreased by 1.2 %. The production of natural gas remained approximately at the same level, while its deliveries dropped by 15.1 % compared to July 2015.
In comparison to June this year, the production of unleaded petrol in July decreased by 1.9 % to 156,000 tons and its deliveries increased by 140.9 % and amounted to 53,000 tons. The production of diesel increased in July by 1.3 % to 240,000 tons, while its deliveries rose by 55.8 % to 243,000 tons in the same period.
In comparison to the previous month, the production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 22.5 % to 11,000 tons, while its deliveries also increased by 24.3 % to 46,000 tons. At the same period, the production of solid fuels increased by 30 % to 2,515 thousand tons, while the deliveries of this energy resource rose by 28.8 % to 2,578 thousand tons.
