Bulgaria: Repaired gas transmission line

Gas supply to Greece has resumed following the completion of the emergency repairs of the transmission gas pipeline, said state-owned natural gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz.

The pipeline was damaged in the explosion which occurred on 27 July.

Gas deliveries to Greece were interrupted for two days, due to a small rupture in the pipeline in Kulata region in Bulgarian territory. There were no casualties in the accident nor it caused any environmental damage.
