A total of 2,412,206.1 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in April 2022, which is 9.2 % less compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in April amounted to 80,406.9 MWh. Traded volume in April 2022 was 15.6 % higher compared to the same month last year.
The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in April amounted to 174.02 euros/MWh, which is 30.2 % lower compared to March (249.23 euros/MWh), while average peak price was 171.1 euros/MWh (- 33.7 %). There were a total of 86 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market, one less than in the previous month.
Regarding intraday market, a total of 78,927.5 MWh (+ 13 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 168.3 euros/MWh (- 35.9 %).
