Minister without portfolio in Serbian Government, Sulejman Ugljanin, and Minister of Natural Resources from Turkey, Taner Jildiz, estimated in Ankara that energy sector will become new area in industrial cooperation of Serbia and Turkey.
Ugljanin and Jildiz talked about possibilities for Turkish investments in Serbian energy sector on margins of the second session of Mixed Committee for economy in Serbia and Turkey cooperation.
The agreement for representatives of Energy Ministry of Turkey should participate in Committee’s work and meet with this idea for cooperation in this area personally was accomplished on the meeting.
Ugljanin, who is co-president of Mixed Committee for economy cooperation of Serbia and Turkey, stressed that Serbia has strategic frame and ready projects in energy sector.
He sent an invitation to Turkish investors to invest in Serbia where he indicated that our country will make a profit from Turkish experiences and knowledge in energy area.
Jildiz confirmed that Turkey is ready for this kind of cooperation and promised that Turkish Government will lead businessmen to research their possibilities in investing in Serbia.
He also accepted the invitation of investments in Serbia. Representative of Ministry of Energy, Environmental Development and Protection, Tatjana Jovanovic also participated in the conversation- it is said in the statement of Minister without portfolio’s office.
