According to short-term indicators of energy sta-tistics published by Croatian Bureau of Statistics, net electricity production in Croatia in November 2018 amounted to 1,087 GWh, which is slightly less compared to November last year, when the produc-tion amounted to 1,107 GWh.
During November, 563 GWh of electricity or 51.8 % was produced in hydropower plants, 350 GWh or 32.2 % was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 118 GWh or 10.9 % of total produced electricity. During this period, Croa-tia imported 881 GWh of electricity, which is 7.7 % higher compared to last November (818 GWh), while electricity exports stood at 462 GWh, 17 % more compared to 395 GWh in the same month last year.
Regarding hydrocarbon production, Croatia pro-duced 101 million cubic meters of natural gas in November 2018, which is 16.5 % less than in the same month last year. Natural gas imports stood at 164 million cubic meters, 5.2 % less than in No-vember 2017. Crude oil production stood at 57,000 tons, slightly more than in November last year, while crude oil imports stood at 371,000 tons. Pro-duction of petroleum products stood at 413,000 tons in November 2018, which is 9.3 % higher com-pared to November 2017.
