229 plants that work on renewable energy sources are within in incentives system in Croatia. More than half a million EUR has been invested in sector of renewable energy sources so far.
The first place according to installed power belongs to wind power plants with 175,250 MW in total (10 projects per TS from 2007), the second place belongs to cogeneration facilities with 10,493 MW (3 projects per TS from 2007) an the third place belongs to biogas plants with 8,135 MW (8 projects per TS from 2007 and 1 project per TS from 2012).
Accomplishment of 962 projects with total power of 332,217 MW is expected the next year (until the end of April 2014). According to arranged agreements for buyout of electricity from renewable energy sources, there are 962 facilities (projects) that are not connected to electricity network still.
According to planned force, wind plants take the first place with 229,00 MW in total (5 projects per TS from 2007 and 3 projects per TS from 2012), biomass plants took the second place with 55,83 MW (5 projects per TS from 2007 and 4 projects per TS from 2012) and the third place is taken by solar plants with 33,72 MW (31 projects per TS from 2007 and even 901 project per TS from 2012).
