Croatian Dalekovod Group announced that it has signed two contracts with the Norwegian electricity transmission system operator Statnett on the construction of transmission lines.
As stated in the announcement, signed contracts envisage the construction of 420 kV transmission line Namsos-Hofstad-Afjord and 420 kV transmission line Snilldal-Surna with the combined length of some 200 kilometers.
After the evaluation process, Dalekovod’s offer was selected as the best according to the criteria of the competition, thus the company has won this 65 million euros worth tender.
In the first quarter of 2016, Dalekovod Group achieved earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in the amount of 8.23 million euros, which is almost double compared to 4.5 million euros achieved in the same period in 2015. In the first quarter the Group has achieved net profit in the amount of 5.8 million euros, which is significantly higher than 2.55 million euros achieved a year before, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
