Croatia: Enlight Renewable Energy Isreal is building the wind farm Lukovac

Israeli company Enlight Renewable Energy, part of Eurocom group bought 90 percent share in the project of construction of the wind farm Lukovac with integrated capacity of 49 MW in the area of Split – Dalmatia County, for 8.3 million USD.

Eurocom group is one of the leading private Israeli holding companies which deals in communications and realty. This project has been developed so far by the WPD Enersys from Dubrovnik owned by Željko Samardžić. The Israeli announced for Bloomberg that they are looking for partners for their next investment which they estimate to 63 million euro. Work has been done on the project of municipality Cista Prvo for several years. Jutarnji reports that the environment study got the green light so the project got the permits issued and a contract was signed with HROTE for the purchase of energy in the next 14 years.

The Israeli company said for Bloomberg that the final phase of the project planning should be completed in the first half of the year, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
