Croatia, HEP and Koncar have signed an agreement on the design and construction of a solar power plant

Croatian state-owned power utility HEP and Koncar have signed an agreement on the design and construction of a solar power plant worth 7.7 million euros.

Koncar will build solar power plant in Donja Dubrava with installed capacity of 12.35 MW and estimated annual electricity generation of 14,766 MWh for HEP Proizvodnja, HEP’s electricity generation subsidiary.

The solar power plant will consist of 23,114 solar panels manufactured by Croatian company Solvis, with 535 W output each. It will be located near HEP operated hydropower plant Dubrava in northern Croatia. It is expected that the plant will enter commercial operation by the end of 2022.
