HEP ESCO has opened a €5.3mn tender for construction of 90 rooftop photovoltaic plants across Croatia, creating a nationwide programme covering operational sites within the HEP group.
The procurement is divided into five regional packages. Zagreb and the surrounding area account for about €1.2mn, while the largest package, valued at €1.21mn, covers Slavonia and includes 20 HEP distribution and HEP Plin facilities.
The smallest package, valued at €770,000, includes several technically demanding Dalmatian locations, among them hydropower facilities.
North-western Croatia accounts for a €1.11mn package covering 15 locations, while a further €1.035mn is allocated to 23 sites in Istria, Primorje and Gorski Kotar.
Successful contractors will deliver turnkey systems, taking responsibility for both design and construction before handing over fully operational installations. Companies can bid for the entire programme or individual regional packages.
Contracts are due to be signed within 90 days of contractor selection, with all installations to be completed within 18 months.
