Croatia: Majority of electricity exports went to Slovenia, imports from Hungary, Uncategorized
In 2015 Croatia produced 12.69 TWh of electricity, while a total of 15.47 TWh was consumed. The country imported the largest share of electricity from Hungary, while the majority of electricity exports went to Slovenia, according to the data of the Croatian energy market operator HROTE.
Electricity produced from renewable energy sources accounted for 54% of total electricity production, while the rest was generated from fossil fuels.Croatia imported a total of 13.17 TWh of electricity in 2015 – of which 4.87 TWh from Hungary (37%), transmits Serbia-energy.eu
