The US company Marathon Oil, one of five that the Croatian Government has chosen to explore and exploit oil and gas in the Adriatic, has announced that from this year, up until 2018 it will conduct seismic imaging and interpretation of the data.
In the period until 2020, it plans exploratory drilling, stated the representatives of Houston oil company who visited Croatia this week to be “acquainted with all the key segments of the project.”
In the case of finding commercially viable deposits, Marathon Oil does not plan the oil and gas production of before 2025.
