Net electricity production in Croatia in April 2023 amounted to 1,318 GWh, 29% higher compared to April last year when the production amounted to 1,022 GWh, according to sh indicators of energy statistics published by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
During April, 586 GWh of electricity or 45% was produced in hydropower plants, 402 GWh or 31% was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 223 GWh or 17% of total produced electricity.
In April, Croatia imported 763 GWh of electricity, 21% less than last April (970 GWh), while electricity exports amounted to 652 GWh, 19% more than April 2022 (546 GWh).
