The decision on the environmental permit is a prerequisite for continued operation of the TPP Rijeka.
HEP Production obtained an environmental permit (decision on integrated environmental protection) for Thermal power plant Rijeka.
Ministry of Environment and Nature Protection published the decision on integrated environmental conditions for TPP Rijeka on its website.
The first environmental permits in HEP Group, during 2014th, obtained Drive Osijek HEP- Toplinarstvo, Cogeneration plant Osijek and TPP Sisak, and TPP Jertovec at the beginning of this year. The decision on the environmental permit is a precondition for the continued operation of existing ones and one of the prerequisites for obtaining permits for reconstruction of existing and construction of new thermal power plants with thermal power greater than 50 MW.
The HEP objective is to enable continued operation of thermal power plants (for which is feasible with respect to their lifetime)by the application of best available techniques (BAT), after January 1st, 2018th , until when their work has to align with the limit values according to Directive 2010/75 / EU on industrial emissions. , transmits Serbia-energy.eu
