The quarterly auction for the sale of electricity from ECO balance group by electricity market operator HROTE was successfully organized via CROPEX trading platform on 4 August 2020. Six market participants participated in the auction for the sale of electricity from ECO balance group totaling 50 MWh/h (base power product) for the period from 1 October 2020 to 31 December 2020. The entire volume of 50 MWh/h was sold at the auction through two transaction with an average weighted price of 45.08 euros/MWh/h. Price determination was based on “pay as bid” principle. ECO balance group consists of eligible producers and other parties engaged in the electricity production and who are entitled to incentive price according to the purchase agreement with HROTE.
