The contract for the supply of wind turbines for Zadar VI Extension wind farm has been awarded to Siemens. The investor of this project is local company Postak, wind farm should have power output of 44.2 MW and it should be commissioned in summer 2017.
The contract signed between Siemens and Postak envisages delivery, installation and long-term maintenance of the wind turbines, and it is valid until 2031. According to the contract, Siemens will supply and install thirteen SWT-3.4-108 wind turbines, with capacity of 3.4 MW each and rotor diameter of 108 meters. The turbines will be installed on 79.5 high steel pillars.
In 2011, Siemens already supplied sixteen wind turbines for ZD2 and ZD3 wind farm near Zadar, with total installed capacity of 36.8 MW. The investor of this 60 million euros worth project was local company Dalekovod.
