CWP Europe planning to build a 400 MW solar power plant in Montenegro
, SEE Energy NewsRenewable energy developer Continental Wind Partners (CWP) Europe said that it is planning to build a 400 MW solar power plant in Montenegro.
The company did not provide any further information on the project, but, according to local media, construction of the Montechevo solar power plant, which will be located near Cetinje, is expected to start in 2025 and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The expected annual electricity generation of the plant is 650 GWh, enough to cover the needs of some 154,000 homes.
The total investment in the project is estimated to 360 million euros.
