New state owned company EPS Renewable energy sources is funded within the holding Electric power of Serbia company. The board meeting acted within the new enterprise law and reached some management decision on meeting held in city of Uzice, the head office of EPS Renewables company.
In accordance with the current legal regulations, corporate enterprise law, the board elected representatives in the EPS RES company. President of the board is Vladimir Djordjevic, the executive director in EPS for RES, other members are Snezana Plazinic corporate affairs director in EPS, and Vladimir Dogandzic director of Uzice Distribution company, subsidiary of Kraljevo city based Elektrosrbija.
EPS RES company is just starting its activities, acting manager Aleksandar Vlajcic noted that thanks to the proactive and strategic preparation done by Mr.Djordjevic from EPS the RES company has clear vision of future steps and doing business. The operation plan including the business areas is made for this company and its approved by the company board.
Meeting also brought conclusion that the RES company should work proactively on introducing the importance of small hydro power plants in Serbian energy system. The board also decided on resuming the work on several feasibility studies for small hpp which could be financed within loan framework of EBRD.
